It's Time to Put Away Those Pea Coats

YES! Spring is here! ...Well sort of at least. I know you guys are aching to pull out those sheath dresses and florals, but why don't we just start with putting those beloved pea coats away first, eh?

To those who know me, it should come as no surprise that my favorite color is blue. It's an irrefutable fact. I love all shades of blue, I'm not gonna lie. And taking this Blues Clues inspiration, I then went to Polyvore in search of blue--blue collages.

And I'm here to share what I found--blue treasure! Apparently, Polyvore had done a contest with blue collages, so all I had to do was find the contest page and look through all those too blue sets. And of course I'll share! Here are some faves:

Trend Forecaster!

TRENDS. TRENDS. TRENDS. These are what shape our fashion industry nowadays. But don't pay attention to trends too much, just have a basic idea about what new ideas are out there. BELIEVE ME, trends come and go, but something that seems "out of style" will be in style in the next ten years, so NEVER throw anything out according to trends. Now, you may ask yourself, who sets these trends? YOU. DO. I know it's hard to believe, but anyone can be a trend-setter or a trend-follower. Trends come from what other people see and like, so don't take it as an insult if you see someone wearing the same shoes as you. After all, copying someone is the most sincerest form of flattery. Just to give you a basic idea of some new trendy trends out there, here are a few according to polyvore.com:

Ever heard of polyvore.com? Well, you now have read it.... This site allows you to create collages with different backgrounds and texts or artsy model photos, and contains many many photos of different brand name clothing or otherwise/lots of pictures of clothes.

Thanks to our wundebar! (that's wonderful in German) S, we have a great many samples to show you, and just to give you a little taste, I've picked 4 of my favorites:
