Shoe Party.

Taking a cue from this popular and incredible video, it's high time for another post about shoes
After all, who doesn't love them some classic talk about good shoes?

When some look at shoes, there are those who automatically think of the shoes' functionality (I’m looking at you Birkinstocks which apparently are super comfortable but in terms of style... it's a sad thing for the fashion world. Power to you though if you can rock 'em!). For some, it’s how far away from the earth can the shoes make a person (Here's to those wonderful, amazing, and uber impractical 7-inch stilettos). For yet others, they relish the silly pleasure of putting ridiculous, unsightful, and by this I mean uuuuugly shoes on their feet (Crocs. I absolutely can’t stand Crocs). And of course there are those look for the bright bright red on the soles, the uber-thick platforms, or the gold medallion with two touching "T"s beautifully etched in (Louboutins, Jeffrey Campbells, Tory Burch).

There are these people, and then there are people who look at shoes as an extension of a costume, not just an item to complete their outfit, to save their soles from nicks and scrapes, or just another way to flaunt their wealth. They see shoes as a medium in which to interpret everyday occurrences, like one does with painting, drawing, and sculpture. They have fun with, design, and create masterpieces, translating normal things that we see everyday into wonderful wearable footwear.

Thank God for social networking sites (Cheers to Facebook… speaking of, go “like” our facebook page!) or I would never have seen this absolute gem of a post from another website. Cheers to the vast Interweb!

Now take a deep breath, and prepare yourself for the beauty your eyes are about to take in.
